$100 Registration, plus two meals a day day in local restaurants. Out of town guests responsible for accommodations. (Registration fee can be waived or reduced if necessary).

ETHNOGRAPHICS 101
For those interested in cultural research.

to introduce participants to engaging with UPGs · to gather local UPG data, shared by your church and Global Gates

Long term cultural research of the area.

For this stay-at-home mission "trip", participants take off work for this three and a half day intensive consisting of

debriefing by sharing stories of the Lord's work during time in the community
Objectives:

introduce participants to major world religions in the area

train participants how to engage people of these religions

envision participants for continued UPG ministry

provide a launching pad for continued UPG ministry by starting and incubating a new group who continues reaching UPGs (see UpGo Team, below)

We produce and provide a notebook that contains the lecture notes, resource lists and directory of publicly accessible local establishments owned or populated by UPGs.
UpGo TEAMS
Unreached People Group Outreach Team

team adopts an unreached people (or affinity) group with the purpose of seeing the

gospel spread through said group

weekly or biweekly team meetings, flexible depending on schedules · meetings consist of prayer and strategy; ministry takes place between meetings

team initiatives shaped by UPG’s needs and team members’ gifts

to create an ongoing, culturally sensitive outreach effort amongst believers

to see disciples made among local UPGs

This initiative typically grows out of the UpGo Teams, but could also be done without being a part of a team. It is for the evangelistically gifted and/or those wanting to grow in this area.

Community seminars geared at providing valuable information are a good means of connecting. We are looking for people with expertise in the following disciplines:

For outgoing people who can “sacrifice” by eating regularly at a restaurant of their choice, owned by someone from an unreached people group (UPG).

ADOPT-A-SHOP
There are scores of international markets owned, operated and frequented by unreached peoples. We need people to adopt one, shop there, get to know the butcher or owner and reach out.
